A mobile application’s success depends on several factors, starting with the app itself and its utility. But even before using an app, one has to find niche or market where this app can be integrated. That is, certain niches are essential for an app’s success, and other’s less so, especially depending on the competition, however the good thing is that nowadays, the app world covers almost every area, if not all of them.

Imagine you’ve discovered a good idea to develop an app, or that you discovered a niche that attracts several users, and then we even see it’s not hard to enter it because there’s not much competition. // However, I’d like to add a point here, it’s entirely feasible, for a fully optimized app, it it’s striking and manages to have a good retention rate, to use ASO techniques and the right marketing to manage to get it positioned at the top of the application markets for its targeted keywords within a few months //. Developing an app and launching it to the market isn’t enough. Without more than that, it wouldn’t succeed.

There is phase before ASO and even marketing, which is vital to achieve ones objectives, and it should be raised during app development or throughout much of it, and sometimes even when the development has already been finished. In this phase, the following aspects come into play, which should be considered:

  • I know the niche, I have a clear idea and am convinced about it, and I’ve begun development, but it’s time, even before beginning development, to assess how the market is. Not to analyze the niche itself, as we know it’s good, but to check what makes the app different or successful, what consequences this niche has for users. So I’ll start checking who to address.monetización_apps
  • And how do I address them? What should I offer and with that, how can I get the best economic benefits in return?, I.e. which method or methods, given that some can be combined, of monetization should I choose. The task isn’t simple and requires experience and a global vision of the app world.
  • That’s how you begin to sense where and when in an app’s life cycle I should invest most of my efforts and optimize my budget, see the most interesting app markets and geographical locations, in case I have to segment, and I’ll begin sensing the harvesting techniques, beyond the app markets themselves.

This phase is vital, deciding which option or options you should choose to monetize a potentially successful app, and it’s advertising. Thus once it’s been developed and knowing how to bring benefits, the following factors come into play: design, ASO, launching, validation and marketing. Always considering future upgrades, improvements, adaptations, among others.
