2015 is over, and now it’s time to see what 2016 will bring. The App market won’t stop growing, it increases, along with everything related to it, the amount of Apps, the number of developers, the number of mobile devices and Smartphones, the amount of users, which increases downloads and above all increases the benefits generated in this area.

Another amazing thing is what we’ll present next, a comparison of the use of web browsers, against mobile applications, 14% versus 86%. This means that, nowadays, mobile devices represent the most recurrent use for network of users.

In 2015, several new Apps emerged, but above all, several others have strengthened, as with the surprising purchase of the well known mobile game “Candy Crush” by Activision, for a staggering 5,900 million dollars. This gives us some idea of the numbers being achieved in this market.

Early last year, fueled.com, did an analysis of the previous year in its blog and forecasted benefits for Apps for the year 2016 of about 46 billion, however, it looks like these were underestimated and they’ll actually be higher. According to another very reliable source, Statista, this is estimated to be around 58 billion. The latest forecasts are closer to this data.

The above data is very similar to that shown by Gartner. Who in turn divided the benefits that’ll be gained based on the three monetization methods the largest Apps use.

However, we can observe that payment applications have stalled completely, while mobile advertising and especially in-app purchases or integrated purchases are on the rise. This trend has become customary in recent years. When launching an App, few propose a payment to download it, while in-app purchases have been increasing, as well as subscriptions or freemium, among others. There are also more advertising methods and more companies devoted to this, given that the volume generated and publicized by Apps won’t stop growing.

The ASO APP experience is based on the fact that mobile advertising is now the highest paid in the integrate online environment. This kind of publicity isn’t comparable to what is obtained through, for example, the web. A simple App, which for example has about 1000 active users per day, which isn’t a high figure at all, with a banner that shows an interstitial ad two to three times per day and per user, depending on the subject of App and the supplier, could get about $35 per day. That’s right, some tests done on Apps managed by ASO APP have reached revenues higher than this previous value with the Google provider, Admob.

That’s how 2016 has begun, with infinite opportunities.
